What is Relead?
Relead is a 3 day Non-residential learning program that will help youth to answer the most important question there ever is:  What should I do with my life?

Relead is an engaging learning experience designed to answer the four questions mentioned in the graphic above. It is for anyone looking to build clarity on their life choices and direction.

Relead will be anchored by Abhishek Thakore, the Founder of The Blue Ribbon Movement. Abhishek has facilitated programs around the world for over 15 years now including Bhumi’s Leadership Development programme Lead Bhumi. But what makes him unique is his own journey as a leader. There will be guest speakers joining into the program, bringing their own unique flavors and perspectives.

This is a paid program which is going to be held in four major cities of India :

  • Pune (6 – 8 Nov 2015)
  • Kolkata (13 – 15 Nov 2015)
  • Ahmedabad (18 – 20 Dec. 2015)

Youth Alliance is an organization working with a vision to “Connect Youth With a Cause”. We aim to build a movement of young leaders equipped to meet India’s problems by designing processes to identify young individuals with a spark to think innovatively for the larger social good. We do this by conducting programs where they get experiential exposure in both urban and rural space to identify their passion.

About Gramya Manthan ( Rural Immersion Program):
Gramya Manthan (Rural Immersion Program) aims at bridging the gap between India and Bharat. It will select 40 most amazing hearts from the country and take them on a rural exploration. The idea is to make youth realize the pressing issues of our country, it will help them understand the problems of our villages and execute solution during the course of program.

Its core aim is to ignite young hearts with holistic concern for their society and nation. Impact of Gramya Manthan ’13

The last Gramya Manthan saw participation from across the country with participants from 16 states who internalized the problems of the villages and came up with implementable solutions in education and livelihood. Our alumnus from Gramya Manthan 2013 has establish “Swatantra Talim” in a village near Lucknow. Our another alumni Manoranjan started “Ek PAHAL” is an enterprise in Kashi, Bihar with a mission to impact the lives of students, enabling them to maximize their potential by reforming education. Gramya Manthan over the course of two years has seen five more such enterprises coming up. Azim Premji Foundation Fellowship Program 2013-15

The Fellowship is an opportunity for you to explore various dimensions of education, and to discover if this is your calling. It is a 2-year full-time program, where you will get to understand and experience the realities of rural Government schools.

This rigorous 2 year program comprises of:

  • 5 weeks classroom module to strengthen conceptual understanding of education and development issues
  • 22 months of intense field engagement at the grass roots level in the District Institutes of the Foundation.
  • Working on a live project that has significant purpose of improving quality at practice level.

You should have 2 to 6 years of work experience, with a post-graduate or a professional degree in any discipline. We welcome people from a variety of backgrounds. What is important is your willingness to explore the social sector and the desire to contribute.

The Fellowship carries a monthly stipend of Rs. 26,000.

APPLICATIONS TO THE LAMP FELLOWSHIP 2013-14 ARE NOW OPEN

PRS Legislative Research is seeking committed, highly-motivated individuals to be a part of the Legislative Assistants for Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship. The LAMP Fellowship is designed for exceptional young Indians seeking to widen their understanding of politics and policy-making in the country. LAMP Fellows will be exposed to policy making at the national level by working full time with an MP.
The LAMP Fellowship was conceptualised by PRS Legislative Research in 2010, launched with a pilot initiative consisting of 12 LAMP Fellows. In the following two years, the Fellowship was expanded to have over 40 Fellows each year. LAMP Fellows work with MPs from both Houses of Parliament, across different political parties.
Role of a LAMP Fellow: 
Each Legislative Assistant is assigned to an MP, to provide individualised research support for his/her legislative and oversight duties. LAMP Fellows will provide inputs to help MPs fulfill their parliamentary duties such as framing Questions, raising matters of public importance, participating in debates, drafting private members’ Bills, among others.Fellows will also engage with policy makers and experts from diverse sectors through participation in workshops and seminars on important policy and development issues that the country faces today.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Not more than 25 years of age (born on or after January 01,1988)
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Hold Indian citizenship
The Fellowship is based in Delhi and runs from June 2013 to May 2014.

For a current project in Pratham,  a 1 and a 2-year fellowship program is being launched.

In brief, there are 2 types of fellowship programs:

1)      Management Fellowship – This fellowship requires a 2-year full-time commitment, and places fellows in a program management role. Fellows will be responsible for managing the operations of the program within their assigned state.

2)      Training Fellowship – This fellowship requires a 1-year full-time commitment and aims to develop fellows into Master Trainers.   Fellows will work directly with teachers across multiple locations, providing both training and ongoing support.

For both fellowships, Pratham will conduct ongoing skill and leadership development.
